Chicken raising equipment is the main body of chicken raising equipment. Its configuration form and structural parameters determine the stocking density, which determines the selection requirements for equipment for cleaning waste, drinking water, feeding materials and environmental control equipment. 1. Full step chicken cage
The full-step chicken cage is generally 2 or 3 layers with no overlap or overlap between the layers. The advantages are as follows: 1 each layer of the cage has a large open area and good ventilation. Uniform illumination; 2 clearing operation is relatively simple; 5 structure is simple, easy to maintain; 4 machine failure or power failure is convenient for manual operation. The disadvantage is that the stocking density is low, generally 10-12 per square meter. The three-layer full-step chicken cage and the two-layer full-step artificial insemination of laying hens are the most commonly used chicken cage combinations.
2. Half-step chicken cage
The upper and lower layers of the half-step chicken cage are partially overlapped, and the upper and lower layers overlap with a septic plate. The septic plate is installed at a certain angle, and the feces slides into the human pit. Its line density is 15-17/square root, which is higher than the full ladder, but lower than the stacking. Due to the obstruction of the snorkel, the ventilation effect is slightly worse than the full step.
The upper and lower layers of the battery chicken cages are fully overlapped, and the chicken droppings are carried by the conveyor belt between the layers. The advantage is that the stocking density is high, the three-layer full overlapping stocking density is 16-18/m2, and the four-layer full overlapping stocking density is 18-20/m2. The number of layers of the stacked chicken cages can reach more than 8 layers, which is suitable for chicken farms with high degree of mechanization. The breeding density can be greatly improved, the footprint of the chicken farm can be reduced, and the production efficiency of the breeding staff can be improved. However, there is a high demand for chicken house construction, ventilation equipment and septic equipment. The laying hens in developed countries now generally adopt this form.
