For farmers, it is vital to create a good environment for the flock. Because the environment is good or bad, it will directly affect the healthy growth of the flock. So what are the suitable growing environmental conditions for broilers when using broiler cages for raising chickens? Let’s introduce the farmers to the environmental conditions for the growth of broilers.
1. Suitable temperature
Within the range of activity of the flock, the temperature at the height of the back is about 34 ° C at 1-3 days old and 31-33 ° C at 4-7 days old. 29-31 ° C at the second week of age; 26-29 ° C at the third week of age; 23-26 ° C at the fourth week of age. The temperature must be maintained at 20-25 ° C until the chicken is released. For the chickens in the broiler cage, the temperature control should be based on the behavior of the broiler to warm the temperature and avoid large fluctuations in the temperature inside the house.
2. Reasonable lighting
The chickens should be continuously illuminated for the first three days. After 4 days – until the time of the trip, you need to illuminate for 21 hours every day and turn off the lights for 3 hours. The light intensity of the first week was performed in accordance with the illumination of 5 watts per square meter of incandescent light. After the second week, it is carried out according to the illumination of 3-3.5 watts per square meter of incandescent lamps.
3. Ventilation
The ventilation work in the house is the work that the farmers have to do every day. In the first week, the amount of ventilation in the house is relatively small, and as the age of the flock increases, the amount of ventilation increases. In the case of relatively low outside temperatures, it is necessary to avoid cold wind blowing directly onto the broiler. If the outside temperature is relatively high, it is necessary to open the doors and windows or the fan for ventilation frequently. In addition to the high temperature summer, the airflow speed in the house is generally required to be 0.1-0.35 m/s. The environment in the house must be guaranteed. There was no obvious pungent sensation after entering.
4. Relative humidity
The humidity in the first week is controlled at about 65%, and after the second week, it is controlled at 60%-65%. Be careful to prevent moisture in the house.
The above points are suitable growth environments for raising chickens using poultry farming equipment. In addition to creating a good living environment for the flock, the most important thing for the farmers is the management of the flock.
